I decided to surprise my parents by flying them to Chicago for a romantic Valentine's weekend. He is a huge fan as well and this was his 1st time (my 5th!) attending Thrice concert. Anita, however, arrived an hour and forty minutes late. We arrived 15 minutes before the anticipated start of the show; She was audacious enough to say that she was being "worshipped" and spent a good portion of her time receiving gifts and notes from the worshippers. Her callous attitiude toward her untimeliness afforded us the opportunity only to hear the rapture set, plus the songs Just Because, Giving You the Best That I've Got, and Fairy Tales. We were both disappointed! My Valentine said he'll continue to listen to her music-- but from the comfort of home. I will always love her music. Her talent is UNDENIABLE ... she still wows me! But her behavior is DEPLORABLE! Leave the arrogance to Kanye, Anita... it doesn't work for you. I have been a fan of Thrice since I was around 5 years old (obviously, my sweetheart were fans!)
